Professional Journey
My path into technology is rooted in a deliberate choice, not a necessity. After 15+ years of entrepreneurial leadership across Brazil, USA, and Portugal, I recognised that the future of business runs through technology, and decided to master it from the ground up.
In 2025 I was selected for a prestigious full scholarship from Santander Bank, one of only 10 candidates chosen out of 1.200 applicants, to attend Code For All_, Portugal's premier coding bootcamp, where I mastered enterprise Java, Spring Boot, Spring AI, Javascript, REACT and the full software engineering stack.
My bootcamp team went on to win Best Project at our final hackathon, judged by representatives of Lisbon's leading tech companies, a result that reflected not just technical ability, but the leadership and entrepreneurial drive I brought to the team.
Prior to that, I completed an AI Maker Development Bootcamp, building AI-powered tools and full-stack applications that deepened my understanding of how AI is transforming the way businesses operate.
What sets me apart is the combination of technical depth and business fluency. I understand both the code and the strategy behind it.

🧭 LocalCompass: Community Mutual Aid Platform
Full-stack community mutual aid platform built with Java Spring Boot and vanilla JavaScript, connecting communities with local resources and services. Featured an admin panel for user management, request tracking and analytics. Led the teamof 4 as captain to win Best Project at final hackathon, judged by representatives of Lisbon's leading tech companies.
🌐 Personal Portfolio & AI Assistant
Designed and developed this portfolio using Next.js, featuring an integrated AI chatbot that lets visitors interactively explore my background, projects and expertise, combining modern web development with conversational AI.
🧱 The Lord of the Bricks - Java Game
Built, along with my Team Sting of 4, a fully functional Arkanoid-style game in Java, applying object-oriented programming principles, physics-based mechanics and AGILE collaboration. Demonstrates both technical depth and team work in action.
📝 Full-Stack Note-Taking Application
End-to-end web application built with React and Node.js/Python backend, featuring AI-powered smart summaries, categorisation and search, solving a real productivity problem with a practical, user-centred solution.
🤖 AI-Powered Chrome Extension
Designed, built and deployed a browser extension that uses AI to automatically summarise web content, reducing reading time and improving information processing for users. Published to the Chrome Web Store with a custom-built UI.

When I'm not building, I'm outdoors, spearfishing along the Algarve coast, hunting, or hosting family barbecue. These aren't just hobbies, they're where I recharge, stay grounded, and remember why the work matters.
